Cinema Under the Stars: DFI offers free outdoor screenings at MIA Park

The Doha Film Institute (DFI) has announced the return of its popular Cinema Under the Stars screenings, just in time for the cooler winter season. In a post on their official X account, DFI revealed that this weekend, families can enjoy three outdoor film screenings at MIA Park, completely free of charge.

“Join us this weekend under the stars at the MIA Park for three enjoyable family-friendly screenings. All screenings are free, on a first-come, first-served basis,” the announcement read
The weekend lineup includes:
Thursday, October 3: Happy Feet (2006), directed by George Miller, at 7 p.m.
Friday, October 4: Rio (2011), directed by Carlos Saldanha, at 7 p.m.
Saturday, October 5: Lily Topples the World (2021), directed by Jeremy Workman, at 7 p.m.
This event requires no tickets, with seating offered on a first-come, first-served basis. With the cooler temperatures and a beautiful park setting, this series is expected to be a popular weekend destination for families and film lovers.
