Indian Embassy in Qatar warns public against fake job advertisements

Doha: The Embassy of India in Qatar has issued an important advisory warning the public about a fraudulent job advertisement being circulated online in the name of the Embassy.

According to the official statement, a fake listing for the position of Administrative Assistant at the Indian Embassy in Doha has been published on the website mahadjobs.com, which has no affiliation with the Embassy.

“The Embassy has not published any such vacancy on this or any unauthorised platform,” the advisory stated, urging individuals not to respond to the misleading post.

The Embassy expressed concern that the scam could be used to extract personal information or money from unsuspecting job seekers by falsely promising employment. Members of the public are advised to avoid engaging with such suspicious links or advertisements and to refrain from sharing personal data or making any payments.
