Media helps promote India-Qatar ties: Ambassador

DOHA: The media can play a big role in bringing India-Qatar diplomatic, commercial, and cultural relations to the society, said Indian Ambassador H E Vipul during a meeting with officials of the Indian Media Fo-rum at the Indian Embassy. Gyanveer Singh (Consular-Political and Information) and Second Secretary Bindu N. Nair (Information, Culture and Education) were also present.

The Ambassador highlighted the strengthening ties between India and Qatar in various fields and acknowledged the Indian media’s contribution in delivering the Embassy’s news and awareness initia-tives to the Indian diaspora in Qatar. He also appreciated the continued support from the Indian Media Forum.

Those present from the Forum included President O.K. Parumala, Vice President Sadiq Chennadan, General Secretary Shafiq Arakkal, Secretary Anwar Paleri, Treasurer R. J. Ratheesh, and Executive Committee members Hubaib, Faisal P.K., and R. J. Nisa.
