Mega tourism project, Land of Legends, in Simaisma to be completed in 36 to 48 months

The Land of Legends project, which is coming up under the landmark Simaisma tourism project, will be completed in 36 to 48 months and some elements of the project will be opened early and the entire project will be completed by the end of 2028, the developers of the project have announced.

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Land of Legends Qatar project on Wednesday.
Brought forth under a partnership between FTG Development and QatariDiar Real Estate Investment Company, the project seeks a radical tourism and entertainment transformation across the region.
Also present at the groundbreaking ceremony were Minister of Municipality and Chairman of Qatari Diar Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, and a number of Ministers, alongside real estate and tourism investment experts.
The Land of Legends is the first key development project within the Simaisma project, spanning over eight million square meters area, and extending along seven kilometers of beachfront.
With a keen eye for sustainability, the project leverages the latest smart technologies and advanced construction solutions to achieve global environmental standards.
In addition to a theme park, Simaisma will comprise 16 resorts, an 18-hole golf course, a luxury yacht marina, luxurious residential villas, and a variety of restaurants and shops, making it a leading enter-tainment destination.

Expectedly to attract two million visitors annually, the project will boost Qatar’s tourism landscape and the Qatar National Vision 2030 objectives regarding diversifying the national economy.
The project will not only enhance tourism but also contribute to creating promising investment oppor-tunities in Qatar.
