Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad’s wedding to be held on Saturday

The wedding ceremony of Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, will be held on Saturday, December 7, the Amiri Diwan announced in a statement on Friday.

Sheikh Khalifa is the youngest son of the Father Amir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned.

The bride, Sheikha Fatima bint Nasser bin Hassan Al Thani, is the daughter of Sheikh Nasser bin Hassan Al Thani, who formerly served as team manager of Al-Wakrah Football Club.

Adding to the grandeur, US First Lady Jill Biden will attend a dinner banquet hosted by H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, in celebration of the royal family wedding of H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and H E Sheikha Fatima bint Nasser bin Hassan Al Thani at the Al-Wajba Palace in Doha.

In a statement, the Amiri Diwan extended congratulations to the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani; HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani; HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani; and to HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.

“The Diwan prays to Allah Almighty to bless this union and make it a prosperous and happy marriage,” the statement concluded.
