Ministry suspends delivery motorcycle operations from 10 am to 3:30 pm from today

NT Bureau, Doha: The Ministry of Labour has announced a temporary suspension of delivery motorcycle operations during peak midday hours, starting 1 June 2025. The move is aimed at protecting workers from the risks of extreme heat as temperatures continue to rise across the country.
According to the Ministry’s statement issued on 29 May, the suspension will be in effect daily from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, and will continue until 15 September 2025.
The Ministry emphasized that companies must strictly comply with the directive, and violations could result in penalties.
