MoI issues guidelines for vehicle decorations during Qatar National Day Celebrations

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced a set of guidelines for vehicle decorations ahead of Qatar National Day celebrations, ensuring public safety and compliance with traffic regulations.

The MoI stated that these rules are mandatory for all individuals wishing to decorate their vehicles as part of the Qatar National Day.

The decoration period is strictly limited to December 12–21, 2024. Vehicle owners are encouraged to follow these regulations to avoid penalties.

The key guidelines include:

• Decorations are permitted only during the specified period.

• Tinting or darkening of front and rear windows is strictly prohibited.

• Passengers are not allowed to extend any part of their body out of vehicle windows.

• Changing the vehicle’s original colour is not allowed.

• Front and rear license plates must remain visible and unobstructed at all times.

The Ministry emphasized that these measures aim to ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain safety for all road users during the National Day celebrations.

Vehicle owners are urged to comply with the regulations to contribute to the joyous and orderly atmosphere of the occasion.
