Rains expected; nighttime temperature could dip to 13°C to 19°C: QMD

The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has forecast a shift in weather patterns starting this week, with increased cloud cover from Wednesday, November 27, bringing chances of scattered rain on Thursday, November 28.

According to the announcement, some areas may experience thundery showers accompanied by strong northwesterly winds. These winds are likely to stir up dust and result in high tides, potentially affecting visibility and coastal conditions.

A noticeable drop in temperatures is also expected over the weekend, with daytime highs ranging between 22°C and 29°C, while nighttime lows could dip to 13°C to 19°C across various regions.
