Samanwaya celebrates Vishu, elects new office-bearers

DOHA: Qatar Samanwaya Kalarikkal Family Association held Vishu 2025 celebration and the annual general body meeting at Swaad Party Hall in Al Sadd, Doha.

Secretary Ranjith A. Devadas welcomed the meeting, and President Vijayakumar Kalarikkal presided.

The meeting unanimously elected new office-bearers and executive members for 2025–26 under the supervision of Founder Member Arun K. Saras.

Suresh Babu Koyappa Kalarikkel was elected as President, Ranjith Devdas as Secretary, Sreekumar as Treasurer, Prasoon as Vice President, Harikrishnan as Joint Secretary, and Pradeep Kumar as Media Coordinator.

Executive Members are Arun K. Saras, Unni Kondotti, Muralidas, Shine Kumar, Anuraj, Gopalakrishnan, Suneesh, Udeesh, and Vidya Arun as Committee Members.

Arun K. Saras moderated the cultural programmes. Ranjith Devadas led the Samanwaya singers while new singers Pradeep Sankar, Jayanthi Pankajakshan, Anuraj, Vyshakh performed, followed by a group dance by Vidya Arun, Aswini Ranjith, Aparna Arun and Classial Dance by Abijini Prasoon and cinematic dance by Aadidev Anuraj. Shine Kumar recited his new poem.

Gifts were distributed to all participants by Areekulangara Kalarikkal Balamani Amma, Unni Kondotty, Salini Anuraj, Suresh, Smithesh, Sajeed, Harish and Abhilash.
