SIS wins overall championship at ANECX TECHFEST 2025

DOHA: Shantiniketan Indian School emerged as the Overall Champion at the ANECX GENIO TECHFEST 2025, held on Friday at Birla Public School Auditorium.

The event was organized by ANECX-QATAR, the Qatar chapter of NSS College of Engineering alumni, affiliated with IBPC under the aegis of the Embassy of India, Qatar.

SIS won 1st Position in Technical Seminar Presentations: Aathifa Jahangir, Shahama Shereen, and Hana Mohamed, guided by Mrs. Aneesha and Mrs. Nithya.

It won 2nd Position in Science Exhibition – Still Model: Mohammad Affan, Nihal Badshah, Mohammed Shafath, Abdul Rahman, and Nemsith Nimpura, guided by Mrs. Shahnaz and Mrs. Aneesha.

It won 2nd Position in Science Exhibition – Working Model (Robotics): Sinan Bin Faisal, Dakshith Damsura, Aryan Ahire, Sai Aditya, and Harshavardhan, guided by Mr. Srinivas (ICT HOD).

It won 2nd Position in Science Research Project: Nivya Singara, Sri Satya Sai Maheswari, and Raina Shameem, guided by Mrs. Nithya and Mrs. Aneesha.

In the Inter-School Quiz Competition, 34 students of SIS participated in the preliminary round; Nauheed Aman, Rehan Navas, and Kazi Sezan Mahmud qualified for the finals and secured 4th Position, guided by Mrs. Anjali.

The event was successfully coordinated by Saleem, Head of the Department – Science.
